Karen Lane, BBus and BSc (Psych) Hons, has taught in the field of creative writing for over 10 years and has taught at WEA for the last six years. In 2012, Karen founded the Writers' Boot Camp (Australia) to specifically help procrastinating writers break through their barriers to finish their writing. She is an engaging and inspiring teacher who not only gives students the tools they need to write their story – whether that be memoir, fiction or nonfiction – but also shows them how to write in a way that resonates with others. Karen believes that sharing words and stories is one way to build stronger connections with ourselves and others.
