Alessandro Mariolini is a language teacher from Northern Italy, where he obtained his degrees and started teaching. He continued to do so after arriving in Australia, WEA being one of the first places where he was offered the chance to do so. Deeply passionate about Italian culture, Alessandro makes his lessons as fun and relaxed as possible, using a variety of approaches in order to enhance the students' learning experience. As a language student himself, he knows that everyone is different and thus tailors each lesson to meet the needs of the class. Apart from teaching, he loves books, films, nature, chess, and cooking. He is famous (or so he says...) for his decadent ricotta and amaretti crostata, which is just like the Italian language: one bite and you're hooked.
