What is the nature of religion? What is the nature of religious experience? What is the relation between the two in the context of the Scientific Revolution? We look closely at arguments concerning religion with reference to key figures of the Scientific Revolution such as Copernicus and Galileo and key thinkers in the Humanist tradition, and why these matter now.
