The Tudor galleries in the National Portrait Gallery (NPG), London remain favourites for our continuing fascination for Henry VIII, his six wives, his court, and his daughter, Elizabeth I. Six Lives (on the six wives) is the summer NPG, London exhibition for 2024. We draw on this exhibition and other resources to explore the rich pageantry of clothes, jewellery and portraiture of the Tudors.

• Explore the magnificent visual portraits from the Tudor Court
• Present the highlights of the NPG, London exhibition Six Lives and the images of the six wives of Henry VIII
• Follow the reign of Elizabeth I through her portraits, and read the symbols and coded messages
