Just north of the major settlement of colonial Sydney Town, a small community developed slowly around significant land purchases by Robert Campbell and later James Milson.  In time some grand marine villas, including Admiralty House and Kirribilli House crowned the land, while factories lined the foreshore, before the 20th century growth of the blocks of flats. But the major change came with the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the railway and tram line that linked the neighbourhood to the city. It has always been a grand and beautiful area - but there is much more than that to discover. Meet at Milsons Point train station 10 minutes before the tour starts so it can commence on time.

This walk will go ahead whatever the weather, except where the guide deems there to be a threat to health and safety. In this situation you will be contacted with an alternative date. Please ensure your mobile phone number is up-to-date with WEA before enrolling and ensure that you have it with you on the day in case the tutor needs to contact you.
