Graeme Aplin, PhD, taught geography at the tertiary level for nearly 40 years and has taught at WEA and U3A more recently. During this time, his interests became increasingly oriented toward environmental and heritage issues. World Heritage is of particular interest. He is deeply concerned about adverse environmental conditions, including climate change, and about endangered species and ecosystems. Community awareness of these issues needs to be increased. Graeme has travelled a lot and has gained much knowledge of many countries.
