Graeme Aplin, PhD, taught geography at the tertiary level for nearly 40 years and has taught at WEA and U3A more recently. His interests became increasingly oriented toward environmental and heritage issues. World Heritage is of particular interest and the sites within the Baltic States will be covered. Graeme travelled to the three Baltic countries in 2018 and found them very interesting and attractive. He will look at many aspects of each, using a mixture of tourist interests and more serious aspects. He uses a wide range of illustrative material to help in this.
