...A fun, musical and original way to learn Italian. Ideal for students who need to see and hear content repetitively to learn more efficiently. Brief extracts from classic, unforgettable Italian songs are used to learn more about grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and pronunciation. Each lesson will start with an introduction to a particular Italian singer/songwriter/band to provide students with the historical / cultural context in which music was created. Then a couple of songs will be used to go deeper into grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation.

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Have conversations about song and music genres they like and dislike
- Learn general vocabulary related to music, concerts, etc.
- Learn or revise grammar points found in the songs discussed and listened in class
- Learn vocabulary and idiomatic expression found in the songs discussed and listened in class
- Learn more about Italian history / culture
